Obviously, the mistakes that we always make in the fruit of this heritage rarely threaten our health.

However, these improprieties damage our time management , on the one hand while affecting the taste of our dishes, on the other.

1. Cooking with wrong recipients

Look at the size! Do not get carried away by the rush and think well what pot or pan you will use. The ideal is to have several sizes to adapt to the amount of food we are going to cook.

If it is not possible, choose the largest: food should not touch the walls of the container.

2. Peel food improperly

Peeling products the wrong way is one of the mistakes we always make in the kitchen.

As you know, it is common for both fruits and potatoes or other vegetables to use the knife, although we  miss much with the lace and spend much time.

3. Light the fire early

We all know that it is best to put the pan on the fire before pouring the oil. However, another of the mistakes we always make in the kitchen is waiting too long.

Consequently, when pouring the oil, it begins to splash and it is at that moment when the danger of burning appears. Either way, this danger always exists inside the kitchen so try to have remedies to cure this type of injury.

4. Do not use the right knife for each task

Traditionally, the same knife has been used, but this is a bug that you must correct. Nowadays we have at our disposal sets of good quality knives at a reasonable price.

  • Use the chef’s knife to cut and chop vegetables, meat or fish.
  • For its part, the lace is ideal for peeling, while the saw knife is suitable for cutting bread.

5. Do not wait for the food to cool to put it in the refrigerator

Although it does not pose a health risk, it is true that the longer the food is out of the refrigerator, the more bacteria it generates. But what is the time limit?

Do not wait more than two hours,  because from then on it begins to be delicate.

6. Do not test food to see if they are in good condition

We always commit this mistake in the kitchen, even though it is one of the most dangerous: a quantity of food in poor condition can cause problems , such as gastroenteritis.

7. Do other tasks at once

Sometimes we believe that doing different things simultaneously saves time, but in the kitchen this attitude is wrong, because we do not focus on what we have to fire or what we are cutting.

The fact that we make this mistake in the kitchen, besides constituting a risk, will also negatively affect our recipes because we can pass, burn or spoil.

8. Put oil during the cooking of the pasta

Our mothers have always told us that olive oil adds softness to the paste. However, because of density, this step is completely useless , since, as the saying goes, water and oil do not mix.

In case you want to enrich the cooking of the pasta, you can use butter or other condiments that do melt with water.

9. Rub the cutlery with detergent to eliminate the smell of garlic

We agree that the smell of garlic is unpleasant. As if this were not enough, if the kitchen tools are impregnated with it, it also interferes with the taste of what we cook.

To prevent this, put the utensils under the tap and simply apply water.
