Take note and start preparing these rich and simple sweets:

1. Chocolate pudding

Chocolate with a high content of cocoa (not industrial), has great benefits for our health (of course, if consumed moderately).

  • It is rich in magnesium, which provides a great contribution of energy to the body.
  • It provides a sense of well-being by containing tryptophan, an amino acid essential for the production of serotonin (known as the “happiness hormone”).
  • It is rich in antioxidants and flavonoids, contains a large amount of soluble fiber, regenerates the skin and improves circulation.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup of chocolate powder (75 g)

What should you do?

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped strawberries (150 g)
  • 1 cup of milk cream (225 g)
  • 1 cup of sugar (120 g)

What should you do?

  • Wash the fruit well and cut into pieces, removing the leaves.
  • Pour the strawberries into the blender and process until they are pureed.
  • Transfer to a bowl and add the cream and sugar.

  • 1 natural yogurt (125 gr)
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar (20 g)

What should you do?

  • First, put the milk to boil.
  • When it is reaching its boiling point, add the gelatin and stir until it is fully incorporated.
  • Split the mango into small squares and stir in a separate bowl with the plain yogurt and sugar.
  • Pour this mixture into the milk and beat for a few minutes until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • Serve in small cups or glasses and take to the refrigerator for 5 hours.

As a decoration you can add more pieces of mango or some other fruit of preference.

4. Rice with milk

This recipe is the queen of fast and cheap homemade desserts.

It will also provide benefits to your health, since rice is a great source of energy, contains high levels of fiber, vitamins and minerals.

It is healthy for the heart because of its low cholesterol levels, it has antioxidant properties and it controls blood pressure.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of milk (1 liter)
  • ¾ cup of sugar (125 g)
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon powder (20 g)
  • 1 cup of white rice (200 g)

What should you do?

  • In a large pot place the liter of milk with sugar and cinnamon.
  • Put on the stove over medium heat and stir constantly.
  • Wash the rice with a sieve until the water that you release looks cleaner: with this we manage to remove the starch.
  • When the milk is reaching its boiling point, add the rice (previously drained).
  • Stir occasionally with a wooden spoon, until the rice has absorbed the milk.
  • Let cook for 50 minutes. The key is to let cook until the grains are soft , without letting the milk dry completely.
  • When you see that it is already perfect, remove from the stove and add more cinnamon if you want your rice with sweeter milk.

You can also add condensed milk when you serve, it will give a delicious flavor to your dessert.
